A Community Affairs Public Forum:
To nurture a proactive community cooperative with directives toward
achieving specific goals...
To promote awareness of the issues at hand and to provide mechanisms that
will allow each citizen to be brought up to date on important matters, made
freely accessible and without cost to residents...
To provide the means of easy access to community involvement through a
shared and combined effort of dialogue and support that can achieve the
benefits that the Wyandanch Community deserves...
To develop a tracking mechanism of follow up, for courses of action taken,
by advancing a communications engine for receiving feedback, for assessing
local opinion on community issues and for returning the results back to
the public forum...
To help create, facilitate & guide action committees, so as to foster
and to develop dialogue and actions concerning community issues... thereby
strengthening and furthering this community's interdependence.
To develop resources that are powerful, sympathetic and effective to the
real issues at hand, forming a forum of community involvement that will give
the community of Wyandanch the political power to have its needs met in the local district,
town, and state government.
To review the visions and goals of our efforts and to adapt as necessary
to the changing times and needs bringing them in line, as it will best
serve the Wyandanch Community...
